The Landy Bar
For years Land Rovers have been used for mobile businesses: gardening, coffee shops, and street food alongside other services. But only in the past few years a new role for such icon has appeared: Mobile Bars!

Today we’ll be telling the story of this incredible “Landy Bar” which had its humble beginnings on a farm as many series Land Rovers did. Starting its first job in Devon as a run around farm truck, accustomed to rough fields and heavy equipment. This would all change eventually after retirement from the Land Rovers intended purpose, to one of the many jobs created from this excellent design.

The revival of this 1981 Series 3 109 came about when the next owner decided to give this workhorse a new life; however, this would take quite some thought to create a unique and captivating sole-trader business. Beginning the transformation of a craggy farm tuck into a haute mobile bar would be no straightforward task, the entire bed of the car would be used up by a wooden and lavish front bar, complimented by taps for carbonated drinks, well lit and alluring “BAR” sign, and glowing back bar housing all the drinks one could wish for.

After some time the “Landy Bar” sadly had to be put up for sale, due to the owner being offered a job as an estate manager at a prestigious country estate with a polo ground. Naturally he wouldn’t have been able to juggle the two, thus had to say goodbye to the “Landy Bar“. The current owner decided to bring this distinctive Series 3 bar its full potential by combining it with local businesses, and many went on to be winning trade awards for being unique and innovative. Currently the “Land Bar” works by attending weddings, festivals, and corporate events. Bringing a classic and stylish edge to wherever it serves.

So if you ever fancy a cocktail, beer or whatever may be of your taste, with that added bonus of being unique and memorable. You know just who to contact for an unforgettable evening!
