This Land Rover Defender 90 Pick-Up is an awesome example of the rugged British 4×4, which has been professionally rebuilt, refinished, and fitted with a number of desirable upgrades by Unique Vehicles in Newbury. Under the bonnet is a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel inline-four, which is now Stage 2 tuned and drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. This Defender has benefitted from a replacement engine fitted by Taunton Land Rover in March 2016 at 31,264 miles. The car’s rebuild included a general mechanical refresh, as well as a full respray in its current colour scheme, extended wheel arches, an interior retrim, and the fitting of various cosmetic upgrades.
